Almost Everyone Is Infected or Dead

By Phase 5, the infection and death toll is nearly total. Characters who survived previous phases — who we rooted for across multiple installments — have finally fallen. Oren, Raddy, Clukr, Garnold, OWAKCX, Sky, Tunner, Vineria, Mr. Tree, Durple, Simon, Pinki, Wenda — all infected or dead. Mr. Sun, the literal sun, is corrupted. Fun Bot, the invincible robot who survived Phase 2, is compromised. Even Black, the original catalyst of horror, has been consumed by the transformation.

The Possible Survivors

• Jevin — Possibly Alive. The cultist who has survived every single phase so far. His worship of Black may be the reason, or he may have simply learned how to navigate the horror. Either way, he's the last character with a consistent survival streak.
• Mr. Fun Computer — Possibly Alive. The DJ robot who survived Phases 2 and 3. By Phase 5, even MFC's survival is uncertain, but he has the best track record of any character.

Black's Transformation

• Black — His audio is "METAMORPHOSIS" from YouTube, and his visual sprite is edited from Sprunkstard. The character who caused all of this has now been transformed himself. There's something darkly poetic about the catalyst becoming a victim of his own horror.

• Infection & rot theme — Dead Sprunkies decay and transform across the phase.
• Yubin Niiku and E.V.A.C.U.A.T.E. sounds — The cited audio sources give the mix an industrial, atmospheric quality.

4. Try different versions — The Turk Jevin Yubin Niiku Redesigned version is the most popular, but the Original and spu9nix versions offer different experiences. We recommend trying at least two.
5. Experience Black's METAMORPHOSIS — Place Black on the stage and really listen. The YouTube-sourced audio is unlike anything else in Sprunki.

Phase 5 requires a different approach than earlier phases. Here's what we've found works best:

• Start with Jevin or MFC — They're the only characters who might still be alive. Their sounds provide a human anchor in an otherwise completely corrupted soundscape.
• Layer the rot gradually — Don't stack all infected sounds at once. Add them one by one to appreciate the decaying audio design.
• Play the Turk Jevin version first — It's the most popular for a reason. The Yubin Niiku Redesigned audio is the definitive Phase 5 experience.
• Let Black's METAMORPHOSIS play solo first — Before mixing Black with other sounds, place him alone on stage and listen to the full audio. It's a standalone experience worth hearing.
• Compare versions side by side — The differences between the Original, spu9nix, and Turk Jevin versions are significant. Try the same character across versions to hear how the sound design evolved.
• Play in a dark room with headphones — We know we keep saying this, but for Phase 5 it really matters. The atmosphere hits completely differently when you're fully immersed.
